Ms. November, Carolyn Morris
“The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness.”-Dalai Lama
Like many of Norman Rockwell’s paintings, Freedom from Want published in the March 6, 1943 edition of the Saturday Evening Post speaks a thousand words.
Brooklyn, New York native and Hamburg, New Jersey transplant Carolyn Morris will tell you that her sole purpose in life is to be there for her family and to help them achieve their goals. The mother of three adult children and grandmother to two wouldn’t let a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer interfere with her resolve. She discovered a lump in 2008 while doing a self-exam in the shower. Although the double mastectomy, reconstructive surgery, numerous infections, and allergy to pain medication tested her, Carolyn prevailed. Today, she shares her affinity for music, her love of cooking, and the bounty of her knowledge and experience with the people she loves.
More than a thousand.
