After a blind date, nineteen year old Christina became the second thoroughbred in twenty-one year old Girard Rowan’s life. The other was his vintage Ford Mustang, which he ran at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey. It didn’t take long for Christina to know where she stood in Girard’s heart when he sold that Mustang to buy her an engagement ring.

Wife to Girard, mother of Christopher, and real estate expert Christina Rowan was baseline normal at thirty-five, but was diagnosed with breast cancer on her fortieth birthday. In 2009, Christina faced a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. With the support of her crew, Christina crossed a finish line and put her cancer into remission.

The smart money’s on Christina to finish first. Girard wins, too. He has his mustang back.
